Last week Madco3d began production of their first full scale demo piece for a 3d printed concrete house. The group has had great success creating large scale art using a lesser known method with their deposition printer. Now they are linking up with Twente Additive Manufacturing, using concrete extrusion with their trailer sized robotic arm. This piece will serve as a proof of concept for town officials and regulatory experts to examine in order to approve the request for building permits in the area. The crew is set and ready to continue printing tomorrow and we will be posting images of the process until its completion.
