[13,000 SF] Gut building renovation / New addition. This full building renovation was not only a complete gut renovation of a former Midtown West warehouse building, but was a careful dance in international politics. Both City and United Nations officials had to step in to carefully negotiate zoning rights with their neighbors; the embassy for the People's Republic of China. Once these proved successful, we carried on branding our contemporaneous views of modernism atop this rough and tumble armature.We were allowed to open views to the South through Juliette balconies through clever interpretations of the code.
