Helmed by Principal Adam Kushner, Kushner Studios Architecture + Design in conjunction with their sister company, Madco 3d is proud to announce that they will be designing and fabricating the first 3D-printed home in New Hampshire!
This comes on the heels of our other recent success of winning the globally recognized
Architizer A+ Award for incorporating 3D printing in a Brooklyn skyscraper which we are
about to break ground on.
[We seem to be on a bit of a roll at the moment.]
This modest 1000 sf home plus cellar will lead the way for what will surely be many more similar projects in the area and beyond. There is a strong demand for housing in the US in general, but in this part of the North East in particular, so this technology arrives at a propitious confluence of needs meeting opportunity. One of this technology's strengths is the ability to produce homes in a fraction of the time that normative stick-built can offer. There are many other advantages over traditional buildings,
including low environmental impact speed of fabrication and minimal waste produced.
Concurrently the home attempts to be as efficient as possible to save on scant resources and will be another example of our Hybrid House™ design, which marries the existing construction, traditionally built with our new cutting-edge cementitious technology.
We are currently in the Design/Filing stage but hope to clear all of the Municipal requirements and begin construction in early Fall of 24’.
Stay tuned for updates on this first-of-a-kind project.
