Principal Adam Kushner Hosts Members-Only Meeting with New York Map Society at his West Village Home

This Sunday, September 28th at 2 PM, Principal Adam Kushner will be hosting a members-only meeting with the New York Map Society in Greenwich Village at his West Village home.

Hosted by Adam Kushner at his West Village home, the event's co-host, John Tauranac, will be giving a comprehensive overview on his map collection of New York City subways.

This event, hosted by John Tauranac, will contain a comprehensive overview on various New York City subway maps throughout history. His rich collection spans New York City’s early subway history (including maps that were privately printed), the 40s-60s era, the 1972 MTA schematic by Massimo Vignelli, the 1979 map, and John’s most recent 2020 New York City subway map.

Afterwards, Principal Kushner will give an informal tour of his extensive map collection, of which includes the famous 1748 Nolli Map of Rome along with many other interesting and relevant NYC-based maps.
