84 University Place– Modern Luxury comes to Greenwich Village

What was once a drab, forlorn rental building suffering from neglect has been transformed into a bright, contemporary example of high-end rental modernism, complete with all the gee-wiz and doodads one has come to expect of such a project.

84 University Place sits a stone’s throw from Union Square, tucked between the narrow pre-war high-rises of Greenwich Village. We were tasked with giving the 1900-built structure a much-needed gut renovation, bringing it up to speed with New York’s changing demands. The suites inside have been totally overhauled and furnished with the finest modern amenities, while the building’s exterior has been given a proper facelift.

Despite the spatial constraints inevitable to any Manhattan building, 84 University Place’s fully renovated interior (a trait it shares with its recently facelifted neighbors) is sure to infuse this quintessential transitional neighborhood with renewed life and character.

Well, we could probably do without the P.F. Chang’s at the corner, but such is life in a big global city.
